Module 5: Data Interpretation
Outcome: Participants will be able to (1) analyze and interpret rock and sediment samples, interpret and create isochron, isopach, play maps using seismic data, (2) analyze and interpret well log data for structural, stratigraphic and reservoir characteristics and use Archie’s equation for reserve estimates (3) integrate seismic, well log and core/cuttings for petrophysical interpretation and reservoir characterization for oil and gas exploration, assess and evaluate leads and prospects and make recommendations to management
